Add a Element of Fun to Your Website

A great way to add some fun and interest is to create a character on your website for your visitors to relate to. The character should represent your website and become the ‘mascot’ that leads your visitors to travel through your website and create a fun element that your visitors will enjoy.

Of course, the character you create should relate to what your website is about. For example, if you have a pet website, your comic character may be a dog chasing a bone throughout your site. If you have a more serious website about writing, for instance, a feathered pen character might fit the bill.

Adding a comic character to your website attracts visitors because it adds a different and fun element that your web visitors will remember. Besides, you don’t want people to be bored when searching through your site. They will stay longer if they are entertained, and therefore they will be more exposed to your sales offer.

Having your own unique character makes your website stand out and be different from many other websites. It creates a ‘branding’ that points to exclusively to you and your website. It makes your website easily identifiable

You can use the character in different ways. It can simply be your logo, or the character can be used interactively to point to specials or sales you may be offering, to point out important information, or to direct your visitor towards the check-out cart when they are ready to purchase. You can even have a speaking character that says ‘thank you for your sale and come back soon’. Do you think your visitors might remember that the next time they are seeking for your product?

Create your character and sit back and see how many more visitors will stay long enough on your website to make a purchase. Fun is the name of the game when trying to attract website sales.
